It's exactly the same for your pets. Pretty much all animals need somewhere to go that is personal and has their scent. People have their own personal spaces bedrooms, living rooms and even kitchens that are all set out as they want, have that sense of 'me' and promote positivity.

Dogs love their beds because of the safe feelings they promote. Their sad expressions and sorry states really strike a chord with dog owners, and always make them think how fionna they are to have a healthy, robby dog. And all this makes for a very calm, docile animal.

And dogs are the happiest when they are curled up in a nice warm bed with no worries at all. There's nothing more heart wrenching than watching an advert about dogs that have been ill treated. Being able to get comfortable with their owners around them is all dogs want; you only have to look at those thankful eyes to see that. A peaceful dog is a content dog, so it makes sense to make this the norm.

Whether it's a snug blanket in a plastic dog bed, or soft bean bag where they can stretch out, a safe environment promotes feeling of belonging and happiness.
