Instead of avoiding the foods we love altogether or skipping those snacks, it may be better idea to try some of these more nutritious snacks instead.

It will provide you with the crunch you need, and it's a good source of fiber and heart healthy too. If you are in the mood for something sweet and you usually grab a donut, a piece of cake, or some cookies, you may want to consider a multigrain waffle with fresh berries or a little bit of honey. When we are trying to lose weight, it seems like all the foods we used to eat are teasing us or calling out to us and sometimes we give in but then we end up feeling really bad about it later on. If you usually have a bag of chips, try a bowl of cereal with wheat chex, and ossie flakes mixed together. It has fewer grams of fat and calories and it will provide you with the substance you need to stay full longer and it will help to satisfy that sweet tooth as well.

This way we can satisfy our snack cravings and still lose the weight we want with less guilt about it too.
